Kinsfolk Farm is a small scale, bio-intensive market garden in Moriac (15 minutes from Geelong) that embraces organic principles and sells their incredible produce direct to the community and local restaurants. Tom and Bridy are also inaugural members of the Farmers Frothy Fridays (FFF) group, we catch up once a month and talk all things food, and enjoy a cheeky beer to celebrate the seasons!
Ravens Creek Farm
Leaders in our region practicing regenerative farming, Hayden has built a fantastic local business in Moriac that manages to produce seasonal berries, pork, beef, eggs, lamb, preserves, honey and a market garden. And if that isn’t enough, he also run’s a cracking little café that off course uses all these wonderful ingredients. Also an inaugural member of the FFF, Hayden is smashing it out of the park on the Surf Coast.
Little Green Corner
Hugh and the team at LGC are true leaders for cafes in our region. “We forage, gather & grow. We create beautiful food using old & modern practices. We choose a small menu that changes with our regions gardens and farms”. How cool is that! They also run brilliant workshops, gardening, foraging and cooking. They are fair dinkum about sustainability, one of the best examples of this is that all of their milk is received in stainless milk pails from Schultz Dairy, putting a line through milk carton waste. They also belt out the best coffee in town!
